In early August, Optimix Group proudly participated in the 13th Guangdong New Building Industrialization & Smart Construction Expo, a major event for the region's construction industry. Optimix Group today announced a significant milestone in its sustainability journey, having successfully obtained the China Carbon Footprint of Products Certification for two of its core products: OPTIMIX TA313 Tile Adhesive (Semi-Flexible) and OPTIMIX SF818 Self-Levelling Screed (Underlayment).   This certification was awarded by the China Testing & Certification Group (CTC), a leading authority in the field, following a comprehensive and impartial audit. The process involved a meticulous "cradle-to-gate" Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which analyzed the total greenhouse gas emissions associated with the products, from raw material extraction and transportation to the final manufacturing stage. The evaluation was conducted in strict accordance with the ISO 14067:2018 international standard, the global benchmark for quantifying a product's carbon footprint.   "This certification is a critical and transparent validation of our long-term strategy," said Mr. Calvin Chan, Chief Executive Officer of Optimix. "Our investment in R&D and sustainable operations is about creating tangible, measurable value for our clients and the environment. We are providing them with the certified data they need to build greener, more sustainable projects with confidence. This is a clear demonstration that we are not just talking about sustainability; we are actively proving it."   For architects, developers, and contractors, the verified carbon footprint data provides a distinct advantage. It enables them to make informed decisions and accurately account for the environmental impact of the materials used in their projects, contributing to green building certifications and corporate sustainability goals.   The certification of the OPTIMIX TA313 and SF818 products marks a key step in Optimix’s ongoing mission to decarbonize the construction industry. It has recently come to our attention that a retailer located in the Yau Ma Tei Cargo Working Area is suspected of involvement in the sale of counterfeit Optimix tile adhesive products, trademark infringement, and dealing in counterfeit goods. We recently discovered counterfeit Optimix® TA313 Tile Adhesive (Semi-Flexible) in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, the Group received further recognition through the Hong Kong Green Organization Certification, reflecting our proactive approach to environmental management and corporate social responsibility.   Several of our flagship products have been accredited under the CIC Green Product Certification Scheme.
